| The movie The Chronicles of Narnia is based on the much loved children\'s classic novel
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by CS Lewis. Four children are evacuated from London during
World War II to the country home of Prof. Kirke (Jim Broadbent).
Here, the children discover a wardrobe leading to the magical land of Narnia,
which the evil white witch (Tilda Swinton) is keeping in a state of never-ending winter.
The children join forces with Aslan the lion and together attempt to break the witch\'s
eternal winter and restore Narnia to its normal state.
